Principal Cyber Engineer

RTX BBN Technologies is looking for a Principal Cyber Engineer that has experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or Science, RF Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Modeling and Simulation, and / or Physics. This role will have the opportunity to pursue external funding from government research agencies (e.g. DARPA, IARPA, DoD Service Labs) to help further U.S. National Security Objectives and betterment of society. This role will have the opportunity to take on a leadership role within BBN's Science Development Program.

What You Will Do

• Build and advance a Cyber / EW-related research area for BBN having measurable impact on business.
• Articulate and execute a vision and tactical direction for BBN and influence the same across RTX.
• Lead cross-functional teams performing business development, proposal preparation, and execution.
• Lead projects and help grow the team of collaborators and implementors.
• Distinguish BBN and yourself to customers by leading and performing cutting edge research.
• Travel up to 15%.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
