We’re on the hunt for a skilled Project Engineer who isn’t afraid of pressure—literally. Our Augusta-based plant is a hub of chemical processing and production, and we’re looking for someone who can lead capital projects that power our performance, boost reliability, and keep our operations safe, smooth, and scalable.

If you're someone who thrives on complexity, can juggle $15K and $5M projects in the same week, and gets excited by engineering challenges others run from—this is your kind of role.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Command the full project lifecycle —from idea to implementation, with safety, compliance, and budget top of mind.
  • Plan it. Schedule it. Execute it. Repeat. You’ll keep projects running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Lead cross-functional teams —engineering, procurement, construction, operations, you name it.
  • Provide technical firepower to junior engineers and plant teams.
  • Be a problem-solver-in-chief for operations, maintenance, and production hiccups.
  • Ensure compliance is more than a checkbox —think RC14001, ISO 14001, ASTM, ASME.
  • Manage multiple moving pieces (and people) like a pro—even if they’re not on-site.
  • Drive continuous improvement like it’s your personal mission.

You Should Have :

  • A Bachelor’s (or higher) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering .
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on project engineering in chemical manufacturing or processing .
  • Deep experience with :
  • Capital projects in process plants
  • Equipment / piping design & installation
  • Construction and plant engineering
  • Material handling & pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership chops.
  • A get-it-done attitude and mad project management skills .
  • A valid passport (or just a love of travel—you’ll be hitting the road up to 80%).
  • Bonus Points If You Have :

  • PMP certification or formal project management training.
  • Background in reliability-centered maintenance and process safety management .
  • Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
