job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPrepare the operating room by ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment conducive to optimal patient care. Utilize aseptic surgical techniques to prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures. Function as a Second Assistant when necessary and proactively anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Transport patients and equipment safely while maintaining high standards of care. Maintain specialty carts and ensure all instruments and equipment are in working order. Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months if required. Ability to lift and carry equipment and patients as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.

We are seeking a motivated Surgical Technologist I to join our dynamic Operating Room team. This full-time role offers a 2nd shift schedule (day and evening availability) at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, the largest hospital in Wisconsin.
