About this Role
NorthStar Energy Services is looking for Class B CDL Driver’s. You’ll transport materials / equipment and support day-to-day field operations installing gas lines at Houston-area project sites (including school projects). We’re seeking long-term team members.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate Class B vehicles (dump, stake-bed / flatbed, crew trucks) in urban and construction environments.
- Perform DOT-compliant pre / post-trip inspections; complete logs and basic vehicle upkeep.
- Deliver and stage pipe, fittings, tools, and equipment; secure loads per company and DOT standards.
- Assist construction crews with material handling, spotting, site housekeeping, and traffic control as needed.
- Follow safety procedures around active utilities and school-adjacent work zones; participate in daily tailboards / JHAs.
- Work the standard 6 : 30 AM–4 : 00 PM, Mon–Fri 50–60 hrs / week with overtime.
What You'll Bring
Valid Class B CDL and clean driving record (required); Class A preferredConstruction background preferred; entry-level CDL school graduates considered.Willingness to complete employer-provided training / certifications for gas line installation equipment and procedures.Ability to lift / carry 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and maintain a strong safety mindset.Must pass DOT drug screen and physical; reliable communication and teamwork skills.Desire for a long-term role with growth into lead / foreman opportunities.What You'll Get
