The Department of Emergency Medicine at Holyoke Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our established team.

Position Highlights :

• Great opportunity to evaluate and treat patients in the Emergency Department and collaborate with other disciplines and services to provide high quality emergency care to patients presenting to the department
• Work with case management resources for effective and safe discharge planning
• Provide appropriate supervision and review of services rendered by physicians and other non-physicians involved in direct care of patients on service
• Ensure that consultation with sub-specialists is utilized appropriately and in a timely manner in order to optimize patient care
• Participate in the hospital quality improvement activities and in the hospital utilization management activities
• Shift : Full-time 120 hours (12 shifts / month)
• Highly competitive compensation and benefits package : A commitment of 10-night shifts has a 15% boost. Productivity bonus (wRVUS + patients seen has the potential of increase of $5-10 / hour)
