About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Compliance to take on the role of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer. The successful candidate will be a key figure in ensuring the organization's compliance with AML regulations, working closely with various business groups, corporate functions, and senior management. This pivotal position demands a professional with a strong background in financial crime compliance, legal or regulatory advisory roles within financial services, and a deep understanding of AML, particularly in the areas of KYC and related frameworks. The role involves leading and managing the global AML team, overseeing the AML program, and maintaining policies and procedures in line with regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing regulatory inquiries, audits, and remediation efforts, and will be a trusted advisor to executive leadership. Applicants for this role at the company should have 7-10+ years' of experience in the field, with a Bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement and a JD or advanced degree preferred. The role requires a strategic leader with the ability to drive compliance initiatives, foster a culture of risk awareness, and possess exceptional communication and presentation skills. The candidate must be adept at assessing complex commercial and capital markets transactions for financial crime risks and regulatory implications, and have experience in multi-jurisdictional legal and regulatory environments.
