Position Overview
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the finance department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct cost accounting and inventory management to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Perform financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends and insights for management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Utilize ERP systems to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
- Provide team leadership and professional development to finance staff.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support manufacturing finance initiatives and improve profitability.
- Participate in strategic planning and risk management activities to support long-term growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.Proficient in financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost accounting.Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability in financial analysis and reporting, with strong analytical skills.Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.Benefits
