Your next role as a Miracle Maker

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our engineering team as a Process Engineer I . The Process Engineer I supports manufacturing operations by assisting in the development transfer monitoring and optimization of production processes for Nucleic Acid Products in a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) environment. This role works closely with cross-functional teams and under the guidance of senior engineers to support new programs equipment and continuous improvement initiatives

How you will make an impact :

  • Assist in the tech transfer and scale-up of new processes from p rocess d evelopment into manufacturing under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in equipment and process troubleshooting and provide support on the production floor.
  • Help collect analyze and interpret process data to identify trend s improve efficiency and product quality while supporting projects related to process improvements and cost reductio n.
  • Support compliance and documentation efforts including SOPs process flow diagrams technical investigations reports deviation s c hange c ontrols etc.
  • Contribute to process monitoring efforts support of Computerized Maintenance Monitoring System (CMMS) and Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams Manufacturing Quality Engineering and Supply Chain.
  • Maintain accurate records while adher ing to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety requirements.
  • Perform other function and duties as .

The skills and experience that you will bring :

  • BS degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Biochemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred
  • 02 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
  • Understanding of basic chemical or biochemical processes and lab / plant operations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

    • The anticipated salary range for this position is $74104 - $82000 . In addition highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidates skills experience and other qualifications as well as the location of the role.
