Registered Nurse Skilled Nursing (On-Call)

Job Description The Registered Nurse provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident's individual service plan and physician's orders. What will I do every day?

• You will monitor residents' well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition
• Effectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basis
• Assess residents to identify their physical, psycho social and environmental needs
• Communicate, identify, report and document problems
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
• Identify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident
• Document evaluation f nursing interventions including resident response
• Assess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and / or medication administration and assist with care plans
• Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director
• Assist with Medication Management Program
• Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
• Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates
• As well as perform other related duties as required What will I need to be successful in this role?
• Be a graduate of an accredited RN program
• CPR / Frist Aid Certified
• Have a minimum of one-year experience as a nurse in a senior care setting
• Have some Skilled Nursing (preferred) Special Requirements / Certifications I may need?
• Current active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
• Hands on experience with ports and Huber needles a plus
• Experience in wound care
• Hands on experience with Dialysis shunts a plus What's in it for me? (Great Question!)
