Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Familiarity with equipment such as two-ram baler, wire stripper, and tote tipper is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Strong multitasking and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn. Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
Job Opportunity : Forklift / Baler Operator
A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add a Forklift / Baler Operator to their team.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.
Responsibilities :
- Operate baler machine and forklift safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials in / out of the warehouse using a forklift.
- Produce clean, uncontaminated bales acceptable for market.
- Use knowledge of metal grades to separate and bale properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of baler before loading new material.
- Perform quality control inspections on baled materials.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment.
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and SOPs.
- Wear proper PPE at all times.
- Communicate equipment issues to maintenance and management.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements :
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 6AM – 2 : 30PM
Pay : $19 / hr.
