About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric feeding disorders to join our team at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego . This role will involve evaluating and treating pediatric patients, specifically those with feeding / eating difficulties, including swallowing disorders. The position also includes some general pediatric developmental occupational therapy coverage.

Position Highlights :

  • Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (08 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM)
  • Duration : 20 weeks
  • Start Date : January 27, 2025
  • Location : Murrieta, CA

Job Requirements

Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric therapy
  • Experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding / eating difficulties (pediatric feeding disorders, oral aversion, dysphagia, ARFID, failure to thrive, etc.)
  • Experience with patients aged 18 months and older , preferably 8 months and older
  • Experience in general pediatric developmental occupational therapy is required

    • Education :

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program (if graduated prior to 2004)

    • Licenses / Certifications :

  • CA OT License (or eligible to obtain if licensed in another state)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • Preferred : Bilingual (Spanish / English)
