Our beautiful Tierra Luna Spa has a talented team delivering calming and unique experiences to our guests with cutting edge products and offerings inspired by the local culture and surroundings. The spa has 12 treatment rooms (indoor and outdoor), indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces, a cafe, contrast bathing (a hot tub and cold plunge pool), and one of the only freestanding outdoor Halotherapy rooms where guests can boost their immunity and cleanse their respiratory system. As a Spa Manager, you would be responsible for assisting spa management with performing administrative duties for the department as well as staff supervision, coaching / development, and training to deliver an elevated spa experience upholding the Tierra Luna and Forbes Spa standards. You will manage a team of 8-10 Spa Attendants and report directly to the Director and Assistant Director of Spa. Specifically, this includes the following duties : Handle the daily scheduling of spa staff according to Tierra Luna policy in relation to hotel occupancy, and spa needs. This includes communicating special needs to management concerning work schedules. Process, review and submit departmental payroll and make necessary adjustments on a timely basis. Maintain all Time and Attendance trackers on a weekly basis. Ensure all Workday records for spa staff are accurate and up-to-date. Oversee the maintenance of all professional and operational supplies and inventory. Create all purchase orders’ in Craftable as inventory levels warrant. Receive all goods and submit all invoices to AP on a timely basis. Manage cost per treatment and report monthly to leadership team. Report any items needing repair or attention directly into Hot SOS system and ensure effective communication between Engineering and spa leadership. Ensure a safe working environment and report any safety issues to engineering and security at once. Liaison with night cleaning crew in conjunction with lead therapist to ensure highest standards of cleanliness are met according to the scope of work. Maintain up to date records of current treatment staff licenses / certifications. Ensure all state regulations are being met. Train and ensure established standards are executed for all support team members. This includes orientation and training of new hires and creating / coordinating training opportunities for the spa staff (ex. Forbes training, signature treatments, new treatments, vendor products, CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens, etc.). Work directly with the team on the floor engaging with team members and guests. Assist the Spa Manager with managing in-house group reservations and events. Communicate to catering team on prospective business opportunities. Coordinate schedules and plan site visits with Sales Team and Spa Manager. Communicate with clients and guests to prepare group reservations. Create and develop new group processes and communicate effectively with the respective departments. Assist the Spa Manager with managing membership, as needed. Attend weekly departmental meetings. Maintain a safe and clean departmental working environment. Qualifications At least two (2) years of leadership experience At least two (2) years experience in a spa and / or fitness environment Strong administrative skills, required Proficient in management systems - payroll, inventory, and POS Experience in a luxury hotel / resort, preferred CPR / First Aid Certification, preferred Knowledge in Forbes Spa Standards, preferred
