As a Director, you will lead a team responsible for a critical element of the host lifecycle within Oracle's cloud business (OCI). Delivering GPU compute capacity quickly and at high quality to our customers is essential to our success. Your team will develop the software infrastructure to ensure new compute products are built and tested to the highest standards, working from low‑level firmware deployment up to large‑scale distributed systems. You will collaborate with multiple manufacturing partners, manage cutting‑edge GPU technology, and build a culture of high performance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team; set goals, coach, and drive accountability.
Define KPIs for the organization and lead the team through strong operational rigor.
Partner effectively with multiple external organizations to drive results.
Represent the organization to senior leadership.
Travel approximately 25% of the time.
Qualifications & Information
Certain US customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.
US : Hiring range $122,500 – $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Ideal location for this role : Seattle, WA.
