Location : Austin, TX (Full-time, On-site)

Position Summary

As a Project Manager II, you’ll lead project teams with confidence, overseeing contract documents, subcontractor performance, vendor compliance, budgets, costs, safety, profitability, and schedules. Your goal? Exceed client expectations, fostering strong relationships that open doors to future opportunities.

Essential Duties

Direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Analyze projects to schedule deliverables and estimate costs accurately.
Build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including clients and architects.
Coordinate project schedules and facilitate effective meetings.
Enhance project profitability through strong financial controls and contract management.
Issue and monitor owner and subcontractor contracts.
Master project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
Conduct project buyouts and negotiate agreements, permits, and licenses.
Proactively analyze and mitigate risks.
Drive new business by nurturing client relationships.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Expert knowledge of commercial construction management, including building products, safety regulations, local / state building codes, and construction processes.

Excellent communication skills for effective email, phone, and in-person interactions.

Proficiency in project management software, construction accounting systems, and Microsoft Office.

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to inspire project teams.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction, architecture, or construction engineering, with a Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field.

Exceptional analytical skills to interpret schedules, statistical reports, and calculations.

Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and motivate stakeholders to meet project goals.

Demonstrate expertise in construction processes, blueprint reading, and project documentation.

Ensure accurate, updated project finances while protecting and enhancing profitability.
