We’re seeking a talented, full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based services team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Professional License Requirements :

Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.

  • Have active state-level licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience working in children in a school setting required

What to expect from this role :

  • Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provide sensory integration, motor patterns and awareness of the external environment
  • Develop / improve individual’s ability to independently perform tasks
  • Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns
  • Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
  • Maintain appropriate records
  • Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Perform other COTA duties / responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and / or certification
  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
