Control Panel Builder

An automation system company based out of Memphis, TN is seeking experienced Electrical Control Panel Builders at Level III and Lead levels to join their panel fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have several years of prior experience with control panel fabrication and industrial assembly, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to contribute during the design process. This is a full-time and direct hire position operating on a 4x10 schedule (4 day work week, 10 hour day shift). Benefits include health / dental / vision / life insurances, PTO, and 401k plan with matching. Compensation ranges between $25 - 29 / hour, depending on level of experience. Electrical Control Panel Builder Responsibilities : Assemble and install electrical components for PLC / control systems, assisting with design as needed Perform precise drilling and layout procedures Wiring for OP / stations and control panels Perform I / O troubleshooting, motor control and start up testing Maintain safety standards and a clean workstation Assist in development and training for newer personnel, with the ability to lead other technicians when other leads are out Electrical Control Panel Builder Requirements : High school diploma / GED Electrical coursework or equivalent work experience Knowledge of electrical control theory Ability to read tape measures, perform mathematical calculations, and use standard tools of the trade At least four (4) years prior experience with fabrication and industrial controls wiring This position is in a manufacturing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
