Tax Supervisor

We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our team in the Redlands, CA office.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with demonstrated technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to review returns and supervise staff.

A CPA or EA license is preferred.

The candidate should demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of tax law and compliance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Essential Functions :

• 4–6 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
• Proven ability to prepare and review corporate, partnership, fiduciary, nonprofit, and individual tax returns.
• Proficient in tax research, planning, and problem resolution.
• Skilled in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystems FX).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communicator with strong client service orientation.
• Supervise, train, and provide feedback to staff and senior associates.
• Manage engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and budget compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated group of clients, including participation in client meetings.
• Review and respond to IRS and state agency communications on behalf of clients.
• Support managers and partners with tax planning, research, and client consultations.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Perform additional administrative or client service tasks as assigned by firm leadership.

Working Conditions :
