Summary

The Vice President of Construction will lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of large‑scale, mission‑critical data center projects across a diverse client portfolio. This executive will be accountable for driving operational excellence, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance, and fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders while building a high‑performance culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term vision and strategy for the Data Center Construction division in alignment with corporate growth and client needs.
• Provide executive‑level direction for greenfield, brownfield, and fit‑out projects from due diligence through commissioning, ensuring accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
• Standardize processes, implement best practices, and establish KPIs to drive consistency and efficiency across all projects.
• Mentor and develop project directors, managers, and construction teams while cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, capital expenditures, contracts, and vendor agreements; ensure financial discipline across all project portfolios.
• Identify risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to safeguard project deliverables and client expectations.
• Champion innovative delivery models, design‑build practices, and emerging construction technologies to optimize cost, quality, and speed.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, developers, contractors, engineers, local authorities, and other key partners.
• Deliver executive‑level reporting and project updates to senior leadership and clients with clarity and transparency.
• Recruit, retain, and grow top construction and project management talent, while promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and safety across all operations.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured and placed in the feedback loop to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
• Encourage and foster a team‑oriented environment through positive feedback and recognition of strong performance.
