Our client in Clearwater is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support their growing accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist , you'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity by ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist :

Review, code, and process vendor invoices

Match purchase orders and receipts to invoices

Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments

Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies

Assist with month-end AP reporting and reconciliations

Maintain organized AP files and documentation

Qualifications :

2+ years of accounts payable experience

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)

Experience with 3-way matching is a plus

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Job Details :

Location : Clearwater, FL (on-site)

Compensation : $22-$26 per hour, based on experience

Schedule : Monday-Friday, full-time
