CDN & Cloud Network Engineer II

This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle WA every Tuesday and Wednesday and remote all other days.

The CDN & Cloud Network Engineer II will design implement and support network and identity solutions in a public cloud (AWS) as a member of the Cloud Network and Governance team at Redfin. Youll be able to use your vision development skills and experience to help shape Redfins cloud based network and identity & access solutions.

The Role

You will work as a member of our cloud infrastructure team to shape our cloud strategy and build scalable solutions that benefit the customer and other engineering teams at Redfin.

You will design and implement cloud-based network and identity & access solutions.

You will partner with SEO application platform and infosec teams designing improving and resolving potential infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

You will write own and maintain Infrastructure as Code across team repos.

You will leverage your network and / or systems knowledge to increase scaling and performance for Redfin services.

About You

You have 3 years of hands-on cloud platform management experience preferably in AWS including :

Cloud Networking : CloudFront API Gateway VPC WAF Shield Route53 AWS Client VPN.

Experience with cloud platform observability tooling such as Datadog and CloudWatch.

You have 2 years of experience in establishing managing and scaling a multi-account or multi-project cloud based environment.

Nice to Have :

Cloud Governance : Control Tower Service Catalog Account Factory IAM AWS IAM Identity Center AWS Organizations Cognito

You have a deep passion for Infrastructure as Code and can leverage tools such as Terraform Spacelift Terraform Cloud Atlantis or CloudFormation.

You have experience with a scripting language such as JavaScript Python or node.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range : $113900.00 - 154100.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances including the position location individual qualifications market finances and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.
