About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Quality Control to spearhead the development and implementation of a top-tier quality control system. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the quality control strategy in line with corporate objectives, leading the quality control organization across multiple facilities, and establishing and maintaining rigorous fabrication quality standards. This role demands a leader with a strong background in metal fabrication, particularly in the areas of weldments, bolted connections, and steel frames, and a proven track record in senior leadership within a heavy manufacturing or steel fabrication environment. The VP of Quality Control will also be tasked with overseeing the Quality Management System, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that products meet or exceed all quality expectations.

Applicants for the VP of Quality Control position at the company should hold a Bachelors degree in engineering, metallurgy, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, with a Masters degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or fabrication, with at least 5 years at a senior leadership level, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of welding and fabrication standards, as well as a strong analytical and data-driven mindset. Key qualifications include excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to influence across various functions. Preferred qualifications include experience in modular fabrication, defense or energy manufacturing, and relevant certifications such as CWI, CQE, and Six Sigma.
