Industrial Service Traveling Laborers / Chemical Cleaner

HPC-Industrial,  powered by Clean Harbors, based out of Crossville, IL is looking for Industrial Services Field Technicians II  to join their safety conscious traveling team! This team member will provide intercompany regional support across various lines of business including Technical, Field and Industrial Services. Theresponsibilities of this role will include confined space entry, working at heights and working alongside various types of equipment.

Industrial Services experience required. TWIC card required or must be obtained within 30 days if hire. Extensive traveling is required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Performs work in enclosed (confined) spaces.
• Performs work using high pressure water blasting equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipes, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc.);
• Loads hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned job onto the truck.
• Cleans work area and equipment after work is completed.
• Practices safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.
• Assists in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area.
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical demands :

Required Qualifications :

Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;

Language proficiency : understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;

Valid driver license and other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business;

OSHA certification may be required for this job;

Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;

Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card is required or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?

Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.

Availability to work variable work shifts and travel extensively 75-80% of the time.

Must have a valid driver's license, and become a certified authorized HPC-Industrial driver;
