Type of Position : Contractual (6+ months) with a possibility of conversion to a permanent position

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Oracle Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Oracle 19c. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing enterprise-level database systems, leveraging advanced database technologies, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will be responsible for database architecture, deployment, and support, with a strong focus on maintaining business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize databases on the Oracle Exadata platform, including Sparse Clones and Exacc Platform.
Administer Oracle Autonomous Databases (ADB) to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency.
Implement and maintain Oracle RAC and DataGuard for disaster recovery and replication.
Design and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard business-critical data.
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database-related solutions and enhancements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Optionally support MySQL and Cassandra databases to enhance operational capabilities.

Must-Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle database administration.

Expertise with Oracle Exadata, including Sparse Clones / Snapshots and Exacc platform management.

Strong proficiency in Oracle 19c, Oracle RAC, and DataGuard.

Proven experience in backup and recovery of enterprise-level database systems.

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex database environments.

Nice-to-Have

Working knowledge of MySQL and Cassandra databases.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.

Understanding of database security protocols and performance tuning best practices.
