Accounts Payable Lead

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing North Phoenix company seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Lead) to support and guide an eight-person AP team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Own the full AP cycle , including high-volume weekly check runs
• Use Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for reporting and data analysis
• Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Lead daily workflow between 8 AP Specialists and the AP Supervisor
• Manage onboarding paperwork in Paycom
• Support process improvements and adhoc projects
• Bring strong critical thinking-not just "processing"-to every task
