Summary

Under the supervision of the oral surgeon, the position will demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a genuine interest in oral surgery and patient care. As a key member of our clinical team, the role will assist the oral surgeon in a variety of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical experience. You will also support the day-to-day operations of the surgical suite while gaining valuable hands-on experience and professional development.

Responsibilities

Oral Surgery Support :

• Prepare patients for oral surgery, including medical history review and pre-op / post-op instructions.
• Assist oral surgeon during procedures, maintaining patient airway and monitoring vitals.
• Complete sedation documentation, including moderate sedation flow sheets.
• Perform IV removal, discharge preparation, and post-procedure updates to patient records.

Physical Requirements :

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
