Job Title : Cardiac Catheterization Technician

Hours per Shift : 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required; 2 years preferred

License : Required BLS, ARRT-R or RCIS

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• Cardiac Cath Tech will scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures.
• Must be comfortable with various patient diagnoses, including cardiac catheterizations, Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, clips, and pediatric patients.

Description :

The position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Technician in an advanced medical facility.

The facility is a teaching hospital with a level 1 trauma designation.

The department averages 20-25 patients per day.

Call responsibilities include being on call for one day per week from 4 : 30 PM to 7 : 30 AM and every fifth weekend from Friday at 4 : 30 PM to Monday at 7 : 30 AM.

A sleep room is available for on-call staff.

The department emphasizes patient safety above all.

All staff are expected to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse leaders, and anesthesia teams.

Technology used includes EMR systems and advanced imaging equipment.

The department does not float staff to other areas.
