Pay Rate :

Local Pay : $1312 / week

Travel Pay : $1555 / week

Schedule :

412-hour shifts (19 : 0007 : 30)

48-hour shifts (23 : 0007 : 30)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Mental Health Therapy Aide for an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care under nursing supervision.

Record vital signs monitor intake / output and collect specimens.

Assist with admission documentation and physical exam preparation.

Orient new patients to unit routines guidelines and expectations.

Support ADLs including hygiene mobility and general comfort needs.

Safely transport patients within the facility.

Maintain a safe therapeutic environment with scheduled safety checks.

Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients.

Interact with patients during groups activities and daily routines.

Assist during crisis situations and escalate concerns appropriately.

Document observations and care in the EMR system.

Support daily unit operations workflow and organization.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred.

Inpatient experience preferred.

Pediatric experience preferred; psychiatric experience required.

Current BLS Certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to perform a wide range of tasks in an acute psychiatric environment with minimal supervision.
