A West Michigan cancer center is seeking a Hematologist / Oncologist for locum tenens coverage starting in January. The position involves primarily outpatient responsibilities, with some inpatient consults and shared on-call duties among a team of physicians and advanced practice providers. Candidates must have a Michigan Medical License and relevant certifications, with competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Brand new, West Michigan cancer center that opened in early 2021 is in need of a Hematologist / Oncologist for locum tenens coverage beginning in January. This is mainly outpatient with some inpatient consults. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, and shared call with the other physicians. You will be joining 4-5 other physicians and four APPs along with multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care. Housed in the same medical office building are the Infusion Center, Hemophilia Treatment Center and Multidisciplinary Care Clinic.

Requirements include MI Medical License and DEA, BLS / ACLS, and BE / BC.
