Agape Treatment Center , A top workplace three years running, is currently seeking a Family Services Specialist for our facilities, located in Wilton Manors, FL!
The Family Services Specialist provides compassionate, client and family centered support throughout the treatment continuum. This role bridges clinical programming and step‑down care, ensuring families are engaged, informed, and empowered from admission through post‑discharge follow‑up.
Specific Areas of Responsibility :
- Facilitate 2–3 therapeutic groups per week at the various clinical locations
- Conduct Family Assessments for each new client at (ATC)
- Serve as primary family liaison when clients express intent to leave Against Medical Advice (AMA), offering support and strategies to retain engagement
- Attend Family Weekend and co‑facilitate
- Initiate contact with each client’s family within 48 hours of admission to the program
- Perform and document Family Assessments with relatives; report findings to the clinical team
- Attend or co‑facilitate the biweekly Family Services meeting every Wednesday evening
- Schedule and conduct family check‑ins on the following post‑discharge timeline : weekly during the first month, then at 30, 60, 90 days, and at 6‑, 9‑, and 12‑month intervals
- Act as a liaison between family and the clinical / alumni teams—when families share concerns about a client’s well‑being, coordinate with alumni services or the client’s clinician
- Accurately record all outreach and family engagement notes in appropriate software
- Initiate and maintain business development relationships
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements :
