Industrial Cleaner (CDL Required)

Position Overview :

The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for assisting their team with completion of hydroblasting tasks and operating industrial vacuum trucks on the job site. When needed, this position is also required to deliver various industrial equipment from its location to the job site it's needed at. This may include driving various types of equipment, including vac trucks, dump trucks, or semi trucks. Candidate may complete overnight deliveries 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Drives and operates vacuum trucks, waterblast trucks, and other commercial vehicles to and from project sites.
• Obeys traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintains accurate driving logs and hours in compliance with company policy and DOT guidelines.
• Completes vehicle inspection reports to ensure vehicle and equipment are safe to operate before leaving sites and stays within DOT compliance.
• Immediately report all accidents, near misses, and injuries involving employees or others to the Safety Manager or Supervisors on site.
• Maintains equipment and vehicles, helps in operation of equipment, and understands the ability of the equipment and how to operate it in a safe manner.
• Connect and disconnect hoses, dump / unload materials, clean out truck tank after each use.
• Actively champions a positive workplace and safety culture.
• Performs various other duties and functions as required or assigned.
