Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour

Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour

Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour

Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in the Cardiovascular Center operating rooms assigned under the clinical supervision of a Clinical Nursing Director. To rotate shift and accept call as assigned by Clinical Nursing Director. To assist in the teaching activities of the Operating Room.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level :

This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.

Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.

Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.

Applicants who have left the UMPNC bargaining unit must include on their resume dates of past employment including months and years of service along with effort. Positions less than 20 hours / week may be combined.

Required Qualifications

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan

One (1) year of current (within the last year) Operating Room experience as a RN.

Ability to work with a non-responsive patient population.

Call commitment with 30 minute response time.

In order to be considered for this position the applicant must have met or will have met all the required qualifications prior to the start date of employment.

Desired Qualifications

Current (within 3 years) ability to scrub and circulate

CNOR certification

BSN

Demonstrated ability to handle stress, conflict and resolution.

Highly motivated and organized.

Work Schedule

Hours : 40 hours

Shift : Rotating position (Day / Evening or Day / Night) - 8 hour shift with weekend and holiday on-call / shift obligations.

Location : Cardiovascular Center -Operating Room

Note : All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
