Maintenance Technician

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients team at (1) of their properties in Shoreview MN (55126). The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in residential maintenance experience with unit turns appliance repairs plumbing issues have knowledge of basic maintenance be self-motivated and be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day. This role is contract and expected to last 30-60 days in length and could become permanent for the right candidate.

This role will be working with (1) community that was built inUnits 4 stories Class A Market Rate / MagicPaks.

Salary : $25-$28 / hour DOQ. This role is contract and expected to last 30-60 days in length and could become permanent for the right candidate

Schedule : Monday Friday 8 : 30am 5pm.

Responsibilities and Job Duties :

• Trash & Recycling - Manage waste disposal areas ensuring cleanliness and proper sorting.
• Garage Maintenance - Keep parking areas clean safe and well-maintained.
• Work Orders - Respond promptly to maintenance requests diagnosing and repairing issues efficiently.
• Appliance Repair - Troubleshoot and repair in-unit and common area appliances.
• Painting - Perform touch-ups and full-unit painting as needed.
• Turnover Maintenance - Prepare apartments for new residents including repairs cleaning and inspections.
• HVAC Plumbing & Electrical - Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs in these areas.
• Preventative Maintenance - Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
• Grounds & Curb Appeal - Maintain clean and well-kept outdoor spaces ensuring the property always looks its best.
• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks windows floors and other parts of the building.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer dryer refrigerator stove microwave dishwashers etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues diagnose problems replace and / or repair parts test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets / drains repair / replace leaking faucets remove / replace caulking replace different components of toilets adjust / replace door closures and replace locks deadbolts and passage locks.
• Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Support the team with additional tasks to ensure smooth property operation.
