In this dynamic position, you’ll provide hands-on patient care, deliver expert medication guidance, and serve as a trusted resource for our medical and nursing staff. You’ll also take the lead in supporting and overseeing our dedicated Pharmacy Technicians, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

Reviews medication orders and patient profiles for drug / drug and drug / allergy interactions and therapeutic duplications .

Makes recommendations to providers and documents interventions.

Participates in monitoring medications for safety and effectiveness.

Perform medication verification as required by law.

Oversee technician preparation of medication orders including hospital compounded medications.

Participates in product selection, procurement and receiving of pharmaceuticals.

Provides medication related education and information to providers.

Qualifications

Education :

• B.S. Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
