Job Summary

Our client is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join a dynamic team. The incumbent will operate radiologic equipment and perform mammography procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease, ensuring patient comfort and providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce accurate images.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation levels.
• Process images and review them for proper identification and quality control.
• Provide information on breast self-examination to patients and answer questions.
• Prepare images for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and arrange for repairs as needed.
• Assist with MQSA inspection and perform required Quality Assurance tests.
