Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility in Texas with at least one year of OT experience and active licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Position based in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and long-term care (LTC) setting
  • Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 6AM and 10AM as coordinated with the Director of Rehabilitation
  • Role involves patient assessment and therapy for a variety of rehabilitative and long-term care needs
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-specific therapy plans
  • Dress code and other workplace policies can be confirmed during interview
  • No more than 5-7 days of requested time off will be considered per contract

    • Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Texas required if applicable
  • Minimum one year of OT experience required
  • Experience in an LTC or SNF setting required
  • New graduates accepted if Level II fieldwork experience completed
  • One professional reference required for consideration
