Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Operating Room (OR)

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 6, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift : 5x8 hour day shifts (6 : 45am – 3 : 15pm, flexible)

Call Rotation : 1 night per week (3 : 00pm – 7 : 00am); every 5th weekend (Friday 3 : 00pm – Monday 7 : 00am); holidays on rotation

Charting System : MEDITECH 6.0

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1810–$1940 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or compact state

Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required

Experience with MEDITECH charting system preferred

Ability to participate in weekday and weekend call rotations

Must provide a copy of an unexpired driver’s license upon submission

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment before, during, and after procedures

Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition during surgery

Accurately document all nursing care in the MEDITECH electronic health record system

Participate in scheduled call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
