Responsibilities :

Set up and operate the finishing area and downdraft table to finish and polish parts.

Grind, sand, and polish parts.

Keep detailed notes of current running jobs.

Work independently and prioritize tasks based on production needs.

Adapt to an environment where deadlines are constantly changing.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow daily housekeeping and 5S standards.

Promote and maintain a culture and attitude of continuous improvement.

Mask and un-mask parts.

Follow work instructions.

Read drawings.

Record results and parameters.

Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Skills :

Tool proficiency : Experience with tools such as Dremel tools, ultrasonic polishers, rotary tools, sand paper, belt sanders, buffing wheels, and different polishing hand tools is desired.

Continuous improvement : A willingness to promote and maintain a culture and attitude of continuous improvement is a plus.

5S standards : The ability to maintain a clean and organized work area and follow daily housekeeping and 5S standards is preferred.

Coatings : Experience with coatings is a desired skill.

Welding : Experience with welding is also a desired skill.

Education : High School

Experience : 1-4 years

Qualifications :

Grinding, sanding, and polishing : The technician will perform surface finishing and polishing work on coated parts.

Reading drawings : Ability to read drawings is a required skill.

Following work instructions : The role requires following specific work instructions.

Initiative : The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on production needs is necessary.

Masking and un-masking parts : The role involves masking and un-masking parts.
