First Commerce Credit Union is expanding - and we're seeking a bold, experienced, and mission-driven Director of Residential Real Estate Lending to lead our mortgage and real estate lending programs into the future.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead First Commerce's comprehensive Residential Real Estate Lending program, including Mortgage Sales, Origination, Servicing, Loss Mitigation, Title, and Quality Assurance.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to grow market share and enhance the member experience.
  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Build strong member relationships by identifying financial needs and recommending tailored lending solutions.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and risk management for the lending division.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align lending strategies with organizational goals.

What You Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in strategic planning, financial oversight, and team development.
  • Strong knowledge of lending regulations including TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, and CFPB guidelines.
  • Experience with systems such as Symitar, FICS, Temenos, and Encompass.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Active NMLS registration and applicable state licenses (Florida and Georgia preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CMB or CREP are highly desirable.
