Your responsibilities

Job Summary

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities :

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery / equipment and perform timely repairs.
• Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery / equipment in the facility.
• Perform timely facility / building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Dismantle defective machines / equipment and install new or repaired equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services.
• Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
