We are seeking professionals ready to work as a key members of our business. Must understand transportation and over the road logistics, must be able to work 40 plus hours a week, must have a good work ethic and be knowledgeable in the cargo and freight industry; knowledge of strapping and securing loads is a must. Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and DOT physical. Must be insurable. Serious inquiries only.
Paid by the hour. Weekly pay through direct deposit.
Insurance and benefits after 90 days.
About the Job
Pick up and deliver freight on time according to customer and dispatch instructions
Safely operate Class 3-5 truck and trailer combinations in compliance with DOT regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle and trailer
Maintain accurate logs using ELD systems as required by the FMCSA
Secure loads using appropriate strapping, tarping, and safety measures
Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding load status
Keep detailed records of mileage, fuel use, and delivery reports
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-kept vehicle
Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including HOS (Hours of Service)
