Position Summary

Instant Pot Brands is the global organization behind the well-known Instant Pot multi-cookers, air fryers, and other popular kitchen products and accessories. We have recently implemented SAP S / 4HANA 2023 to operate the business in a private cloud environment as part of the SAP RISE program. We have a dynamic culture and eager team striving to bring innovative products to the market.

This contract role will work with other internal analysts, subject matter experts (SMEs) and external consultants to enhance and maintain EDI messaging using SAP following standard SAP best practices. We exchange EDI with customers, third-party logistics warehouses, and other partners, and we are expanding our integrations to improve efficiency. We have implemented IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS for EDI services with premium support for mapping and connection tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Meet with internal teams and external partners to work through requirements to support integration needs
  • Work with our SAP AMS partner, global internal team, and IBM to design and build out new EDI integrations in both US and Europe
  • Development and modification of existing interfaces to meet evolving requirements and new needs
  • Assist with support and troubleshooting of customer and 3PL EDI messaging issues
  • Coverage for internal EDI resources while away
  • Assist with improving reliability and development of monitoring tools to ensure consistent data flow
  • Consult with IT personnel as necessary to diagnose and resolve system or networking issues
  • Interact with our SAP AMS team for assistance with incident resolution as required
  • Attention to detail and following a consistent problem-solving methodology
  • Maintain system documentation when changes are made
  • Follow industry standard change processes complete with testing and validation

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or comparable work experience
  • SAP training and certifications are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA and SAP IDocs
  • Expert knowledge of EDI supporting customer and 3PL transactions
  • Preferred experience using IBM Sterling B2B SaaS EDI data integration services
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting EDI transactions with large retailers
  • Experience working with third party logistics (3PL) providers and associated EDI interfaces
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to answer questions in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing to various technical levels
  • Excellent listening skills and always seek first to understand the customer’s concerns and needs
