job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide timely & consistent follow-through with current customers from initial contact to after closing. Travel throughout the local community to self-generate sales from realtor / co-broker businesses, referrals, & self-prospecting. Develop in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace (including product, site, local community, sales, advertising, & demographics). Monitor and record daily customer traffic, utilizing company-designated tracking tools. Participate in homeowner orientation(s) required by the division, & where appropriate, work with customers on their builder option purchases. High school diploma / GED required (college preferred) 2+ yrs. of recent sales experience 5+ yrs. of specific NEW home sales experience (required only for New Home Consultants) Valid driver’s license & auto insurance coverage w / safe driving record Must be willing to commute regularly within the DFW Metro Area (est. 1 hr.) Availability to work during peak sales times including weekends & holidays Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation / contract calculations Strong verbal & written communication skills

New Home Consultant Summary :
The New Home Consultant & New Home Consultant Trainee’s primary focus is to administer / coordinate the new home purchase process & close of escrow with the ultimate goal of creating “tickled, delighted and happy” customers. In this role you will sell, process, & close homes in accordance with company business plans, adhering to the company’s selling philosophy when serving our home buying & realtor customers, utilizing all selling / organizational tools provided. This includes accompanying them through the Welcome Home Centers, undecorated models (which may be at various stages of construction), and / or available homesites.
