Entry Level Water Resources Engineer

Job Description

Dewberry's Denver, CO office is currently seeking an Entry Level Water Resource Engineer to perform water resources and / or water / wastewater work. Individual will analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models and computations for floodplain mapping, storm water and watershed master planning, and stream restoration.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field is required.
• Some experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PCSWMM, or similar numerical models.
• Proficiency in GIS software.
• Knowledge of floodplain delineation, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $81,060 - $83,560 annually. Depending upon other factors, ., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
