Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to :

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
  • Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
  • Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
  • Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and / or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.

To become part of the NFI team you :

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
  • Technical or advanced degree or 4-7 years of equivalent maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
  • Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
  • On-site evaluation with recommended training

  • Average Pay Range :
  • 29 - $34 per hour
  • pay will be determined by experience and certifications
  • Sign On Bonus : $2,000
