Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity has arisen for dedicated Occupational Therapists to support students in an educational setting located in Warren, MI. This full-time position spans the entire semester, focusing on delivering tailored therapeutic services to K-12 students.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and assessment tools
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Location : Warren, MI
Responsibilities :
Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for studentsCollaborate with educators and other staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroomMaintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomesParticipate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student needsManage a caseload of approximately 50 students, tailoring services to diverse needsEngage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapy practices in schoolsBenefits :
