You'll be working closely with the GM and will help with the bar program, scheduling, training, employee coaching and development, labor and cost controlling.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for the flawless execution of daily shifts ensuring the highest standards of hospitality are met during every guest interaction.
Position Summary
The AGM leads the front-of-house team and ensures smooth, consistent execution of our service standards. This hands-on role supports daily operations, communication between FOH and BOH, staff training, guest relations, and overall floor leadership. The ideal candidate brings a calm, positive approach while reinforcing teamwork, accountability, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support floor staff to uphold service excellence.
Maintain floor readiness, ambiance, cleanliness, and overall guest flow.
Manage daily operations, including staff coordination, guest communication, and issue resolution.
Conduct pre-shift meetings and assist with menu updates and training.
Oversee staff performance, coaching, and development.
Ensure compliance with California health, safety, and company policies.
Address guest feedback promptly and professionally.
Assist with financial tasks, such as reviewing P&L and supporting budget goals.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a floor management or leadership role within a high-volume, elevated dining environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stay composed under pressure and lead by example.
Proficient with POS systems, reporting, and general operational processes.
Skilled at training, motivating, and developing teams.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
California Food Handler Certification and working knowledge of LA County Health Department regulations preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hours.
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise.
