Level Three Security Guard

The Office of the Second Judicial District Attorney improves the quality of life of the citizens of Bernalillo County by reducing crime through thoughtful enforcement of the law and the development of a criminal justice system. The Office is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and is seeking applicants for a Security Guard at the Second Judicial District Attorneys Office in Albuquerque New Mexico.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

Applicant may depending on Certification status : patrol and secure all District Attorneys Office sites;monitor and analyse camera footage; guarding valuables in secured areas; respond to alarms and emergencies;communicate irregularities with management; keepingincidentreports /

records; checking visitors in and out ofthe facilities; escort employees to and from court; secure all door windows and exits : operate x ray and metal detection equipment; follow office protocoland post orders.

Requirements : High school diploma or GED; plus current Level Three Certification with the State of New Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications : State of New Mexico Security Guard level Three Firearm Certification plus one (1) year work experience as asecurityofficer.

Job Requirements / Working Conditions : Work is performed in the office considerablephysical effort may be required. May encounter dangerous situations.
