Senior Engineering Technology Administrator

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Technology Administrator to join our team in Houston. This position located at our Downtown Houston Office and is a Monday-Friday position.

This position will report to the Director of Engineering Technology

Responsibilities :

• Administration, configuration, and customization of 3D Design and Engineering applications including Smart3D, Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, and Mat3D.
• Implement and manage application interoperability and data exchange workflows between engineering applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Civil, Structural, Piping, Electrical, Vendors, and other disciplines to improve productivity, reduce rework, and digital delivery.
• Configure, validate, and verify engineering applications, including STAAD.Pro, to ensure accuracy and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Utilize API's and underlying data model (Metadata) to develop and oversee deployment of engineering automation solutions to augment out-of-the-box functionality for maximizing tool utilization and optimizing engineering workflows.
• Review, monitor, and ensure compliance requirements are met for the design (e.g. Standards, specification, model, and local codes and regulations etc.)
• Regularly performs reviews of vendor documents to ensure specifications and data sheet requirements are met.
• Interfacing directly with software vendors to escalate issues (bugs) and request new functionality to support Venture Global's standard workflows, which needs a strong technical understanding of the software applications.
• Develop and implement corporate standards and work practices for engineering systems that facilitate workshare and the propagation of high-quality data for downstream consumers.
• Coordinate with internal and external information technology (IT) to improve and troubleshoot software solutions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with project teams, and management while maintaining a structured approach of working within a larger integrated engineering solution.
