Primary Responsibilities
The Communications Manager implements corporate communications strategies across the company’s geographically distributed workforce of 8,000 employees.
Essential Functions
Creates and delivers internal communications content including emails, newsletters, internet articles, internal marketing campaigns, digital signage posts, videos, and presentations.
Supervises day‑to‑day communications operations.
Partners with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver clear and consistent messaging aligned with the strategic plan, culture, and brand.
Manages a communications plan that aligns content, audiences, and distribution channels.
Measures and reports on the effectiveness of communications activities.
Supports internal events : executive leadership meetings, awards celebrations, town halls, and employee engagement events.
Leads and develops a direct report, inspiring and unleashing potential.
Manages communications projects and campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and / or action.
Proofs, edits, and advises on corporate communications.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Excellent verbal, writing and editing skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Service mindset when interacting with internal customers.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
High degree of professionalism, self‑motivation, and dependability.
Strong attention to detail and conceptual thinking.
Strong interpersonal skills; consults with other business areas.
Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment.
Bilingual proficiency (English / Spanish preferred, conversational).
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience coordinating communications for a corporation or institution.
Experience creating and deploying content for geographically dispersed audiences.
Experience managing webinars on platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Experience delivering content through email newsletter platforms, intranet, digital signage, and employee communication apps.
Experience with audio and video editing and production.
Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend and lift up to 25 pounds.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk / workstation and working on a computer.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
