Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals as established by agency leadership
- Develop accurate insurance quotes and present tailored policy options to prospective clients
- Close sales by clearly communicating the value of coverage solutions based on customer needs
- Prospect and generate new business through referrals, leads, and outbound marketing efforts
- Build strong, lasting relationships with referral partners such as real estate agents, mortgage lenders, auto dealers, and title companies
- Maintain and update customer records, including contact information, coverage needs, and relevant personal details
- Utilize VOIP systems, dialing software, and digital tools to manage outreach and follow-up activity
- Stay current on new products, services, and underwriting guidelines to better serve clients and improve close ratios
- Ensure compliance with all underwriting, rating, and documentation requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Share knowledge and support team growth through collaboration and contribution
- Attend industry events and team meetings to enhance skill set and build your professional network
- Maintain consistent activity benchmarks, including calls, quotes, and sales goals
